An aspiring teacher arrives at a remote town near the DMZ and becomes part of the community. As he gets to know the townspeople, he feels something’s not right. He soon discovers that the townspeople have dug a secret underground pathway connecting North and South Korean villages in order to reunite families separated at the end of Korean War.
